In the Catalonia Rally Citroen doublet
1 to 4 October was held the 45th Rally of Catalonia, penultimate round of the World Rally Championship and last Junior World Championship.
Frenchman Sebastian Loeb and Dani Sordo Spaniard with Citroen C4 WRC have surpassed Latvala and Mikko Hirvonen in the Ford Focus, securing pole position for the French manufacturer’s championship.
Many policy, with the presentation of two candidates for president of the FIA, but little show, by the type of sections of Catalonia, was what we saw in some sunny days and perfect organization.
In the Rally of Catalonia Sebastian Loeb has signed its sixth win of the year and, with Sordo, Citroën team has achieved his third double of the season. French is now just one point behind Mikko Hirvonen in the FIA World Drivers’ Champion is mathematically and Citroen brands.
The rally began with Dani Sordo in first place but we all knew that Loeb would happen sooner or later. That was the end of three days of racing, Loeb finished first followed by the Spaniard.
