Italian rider Valentino Rossi gets bigger his legend and win his ninth world title in MotoGP
The Italian Valentino Rossi (Yamaha) Sunday extended his legend and world champion in MotoGP at the Sepang circuit in Malaysia Grand Prix, a race in which was third behind Australian Casey Stoner (Ducati) and Spanish Dani Pedrosa (Honda) second.
The Spanish Jorge Lorenzo (Yamaha) came home in fourth place.
This is the ninth title of world champion Rossi, of which seven are in the maximum displacement, one in 125 cc, in 1997, and in 250 cc in 1999.
Rossi’s pole was held yesterday with the fastest time achieved in the history of the Malaysian track, but today the rain that delayed the departure made him more cautious lap in tenth place in the first round. To enter the top four was worth it, whatever he did his only rival in the fight for the championship, Lorenzo.
