Stoner gives no truce or boiled

Stoner could not handle the pace set by the Honda of Stoner after the first two practice sessions at Silverstone. Lorenzo finished third in the first and fifth after the second free-boiled, after Simoncelli, Hayden and Cruchtlow.

Casey Stoner (Honda) dominated the first two practice sessions of the Grand Prix of Great Britain, Silverstone, both in the morning with the track dry and wet in the afternoon.

After the rain began to fall during training of 125 cc and stopped during the MotoGP, but left the track with plenty of water, no pilot lowered his time to the opening session.

The MotoGP World Champion, Jorge Lorenzo, but was third in the first, the second could not get past the fifth place behind Stoner, his top rival in the championship lead after five races, Marco Simoncelli (Honda ), Nicky Hayden (Ducati) and Cal Cruchtlow (Yamaha).

Stoner had already set the pace and was first with Lorenzo third. Between them, Simoncelli (Honda) with a time of 2:04.407 to 2:03.748 2:04.756 Australian and Spanish.

Another Spanish, Hector Barbera (Ducati) had set the eighth fastest time with 2:06.158, ahead of compatriot Alvaro Bautista (Suzuki), ninth in 2:06.274. Toni Elias (Honda) was fourteenth with 2:07.616.

With the wet pavement, Stoner took twelve seconds to dry, 2:15.666, 2:16.463 Simoncelli and who led the second session several times, alternating with the Australian.

For his part, Valentino Rossi was not even close to the fastest and was relegated to ninth place, away from his teammate, Hayden, on water and the twelfth week dry.

Hector Barbera (Ducati) the eighth place in the table behind the official Yamaha Ben Spies. Barbera stopped the clock in 2:06.158 for the Texan 2.05.00, while compatriot Alvaro Bautista stood behind him a place with 2:06.274.

Pedrosa is given a tribute in Portugal

Poker Estoril pole for Jorge Lorenzo

Pedrosa and Rossi are no match for Lorenzo

Pedrosa, again better than Rossi and Lorenzo
